Dickie Osborne

Dickie Osborne has spent more than 30 years building and consulting on equestrian arenas around the world. Combining a lifelong passion for horses with decades of excavation and construction experience, he recognized the need for better arena education and founded Precision Equestrian Arenas Education to help horse owners, builders, and facility managers make informed decisions and achieve lasting success.

Amanda Bolyard

Amanda Bolyard brings over 35 years of experience in the equine industry, with a background spanning hunters, jumpers, eventing, reining, ranch work, barn management, and professional grooming. Combining her lifelong equestrian experience with a degree in design and a family background in heavy construction, Amanda offers a unique perspective on arena planning and education. Today, she leads Precision’s branding and educational initiatives, helping translate complex arena concepts into practical, accessible learning for equestrians.

Michael DePew

Michael DePew is an agronomist and soil scientist with more than 30 years of experience designing equine footing and performance surfaces. From racetracks and rodeo arenas to dressage, reining, and hunter/jumper facilities, he has dedicated his career to improving footing safety and performance. Michael serves as Chair of ASTM Subcommittee F08.28 on Equestrian Footings and Technical Director of Safe Arena Footing (SAF), helping advance industry standards and educate equestrians on sound footing principles.
